At one place there was a small and beautiful pond. In that pond different types of fishes, varieties of frogs, and different types of insects lived there. They were living their life well and happily by eating food in that pond. But they feel their life has become very boring by spending the same routine every day. One day they decided to call a meeting and the main topic of that meeting was that now our life has become boring. To come out of this boredom we should have a king.
If we have one king, then he will entertain us, will understand the happiness and sorrow of all of us. He will also solve all the problems. After that, they were living there happily after eating and drinking in that pond. But after some time again they start feeling that, they did not get satisfied with all this. They started feeling that their life has become boring and unhappy. So to make their life exciting, for now, they feel that it is very important to be a king.
The same happens with us human- :
The same happens with us also. When humans get everything easy, then life seems boring to them. They always need some excitement in life. And the same thing happened to the frogs, insects, and fishes living in that pond. When all of them are happy in their life then they need excitement in their life and for that, they need a king. They all prayed together to God to send someone, who can entertain them so that all of them will be happy.
After a few days, they saw that in the middle of the pond, there was a huge log of wood. Seeing that wood, all the frogs, fishes, and insects were happy and everyone started thanking God, that their wish is fulfilled. God has sent that huge log of wood who can entertain them and their life happy. First, for a few days, everyone was getting happy seeing that wood.
But after a few days, all of them started getting irritated after seeing that wood. They said that wood is neither laughing nor talking with us nor something is entertaining us. That’s why everyone started feeling more irritated after seeing that wood.
Again all together prayed to God- :
Again they all together prayed to God that we don’t want this type of wooden king. Send a good king who will entertain us and take care of us. Then after a few days see that in the middle of that pond a beautiful little swan was swimming. Seeing the swan all the frogs, insects, and fishes become very happy. And everyone started saying that God has heard our prayer and sent a beautiful king for us.
But after a few days, everyone see that the beautiful swan was not talking with anyone. He was finding some little worms and eating. He was swimming throughout the day. Neither talking nor spending time with anyone. Seeing that everyone started getting irritated again. All the frogs, insects, and fishes said that this beautiful bird is neither entertaining us nor is there any excitement happening with us. That’s why we don’t want such a king.
And then all together prayed to God and said that O God what type of are you giving king all of us. We don’t want such a king. You send such a king who can entertain us, our happiness and sorrow can understand, and give much excitement in our life, send such a king. The next morning all the frogs, insects, and fishes saw in the sky, that a very big bird was flying in the sky.
A big and very fierce looking king- :
That bird had a big wingspan, a very big beak. It was very big and terrible to see. Seeing that bird all the frogs, insects and fishes in the pond got very happy. Everyone started dancing happily and together they all started shouting loudly and said this time God has really listened to our prayers. Give us such a big bird king who looks so powerful, so fierce, now our life will really change. Now a lot of happiness and excitement will come into our life.
Hearing the sound of all the pond living beings, the bird was flying in the sky looked down and goy very happy. The bird was very sharp-eyed because it was an eagle. The eagle was very happy to see all these in the pond and thought that Wow….. I found so many frogs, insects, and fishes in this pond, now I will eat all these and stay here for a few days. Now I don’t have to go anywhere else to find my food.
Thinking all this the bird came down from the sky and sat on the bank of the pond. Seeing the bird sitting on the bank of the pond all frogs, insects and fishes started dancing loudly and shouting with joy. Everyone said together that now our life is really going to change, will bring a lot of excitement in our life and fill our life with happiness.
They all had to see the outside world- :
The next morning the bird took some frogs, insects, and fishes on its beak and said that come with me, I will show you the outside world, and then I will bring you and leave you in the pond. Then all of them were very happy that they are all going to roam now. The bird took them all its beak and after going a short distance from that pond the bird ate them all.
In the same way, the bird used to take some frogs, insects, and fish in its beak and ate them all in a short distance of the pond. Then gradually there is no one else left in the pond, the bird ate all frogs, insects, and fish. Then the bird left that pond and happily went somewhere else. We got to learn a very valuable thing from this story and especially today’s youth society needs this knowledge very much. What do we need in our life? Which is very important to us in life? We don’t pay attention to that thing. We do some very strange things on which we think that we will have excitement in our life. And the result will be a lot of suffering in a terrible way. When a boy and a girl study in college, what should be their first priority? Their first priority is to take a good education, a good teacher who can guide them, can guide what should be done and what should not be done, build their carrier, and strong personality and characters. But what do those people do? They don’t do all this, they do very wired things to bring excitement to their life. Those people don’t study, don’t build their character, they fall in love, they want to make girlfriends and boyfriends. They get excitement by doing all this. Those people ruin their future, there is a lot of problems in the family, they depend on others for every little thing because they are not financially strong anymore. All this happens because when they were in college, they had a very peaceful place, they had a lot of books, there were many good teachers, then they did not understand its importance. They even don’t understand the importance of their time.
When there was time for study, they passed their time going to watch movies with their girlfriends and boyfriends. They used to do such strange things which would bring excitement in their life and by doing all this they were wasting their time. In the future, they will repent of this for the rest of their life. They will be always unhappy because they will not be able to lead a good life. Because at the time when it was time to make their future, they waste that time in excitement. That’s why to be happy always, it is very important to know the reason for being unhappy.
Sometimes we don’t understand the God’s gesture:
The same thing happened with frogs, insects, and fishes to all of them who live in the pond. When they were living their life comfortably in that pond, then they feel life is boring. That’s why everyone prayed to God together to give us a king who will bring excitement to our lives, will fill our life with happiness. Then God really listened to their prayers and had given them a king, meaning the giant wood had given.
God send the giant wood because the frogs and insects get tired of swimming in the water or when they get tired of playing, then they will sit on that wood, enjoy the water, nature and see everything. When the wood floats they will sit on it and enjoy it. For that God had sent that wood. So that by sitting on top of that wood, they would feel happy and enjoy nature more. But they all don’t understand that giant wood importance.
Again they all prayed for the second time for a king, God gave them a king like a beautiful swan. The meaning of giving a swan was that swan is a beautiful creature. They all saw that swan-like how he is playing, how he is swimming. They were all happy to see all this. But, they didn’t understand its importance too. When they all could not understand the importance of living a happy life, then how would they be able to understand all this and even if God’s gesture was good, they could not understand.
Not satisfied with the happy life- :
And the reason for all this, they all of them were not satisfied with their happy life. They always wanted excitement in their life. This excitement is the biggest enemy of human life. When a person gets excited that person doesn’t understand the importance of happiness in life. You should have your own control over the emotions of your life, over the excitement of your life.
Otherwise, it will put you at such a point of life from where you will be able to repent but will not be able to come back from there. There are many people in the world who are repenting but can’t come back from there.
